In this context, please also refer to the data protection policies of the respective social media platform.
Data processing conducted by us
The data you insert on our social media pages, such as user names, comments, videos, images, likes, public messages, etc., are published by the social media platform and are not processed by us for any other purposes at any time. We only reserve the right to delete content if this should be necessary. We may share your content on our site if this is a feature of the social media platform and communicate with you via the social media platform. If you submit a request to us on the social media platform, we may also refer you to other secure communication channels that guarantee confidentiality, depending on the content.
If you wish to object to particular data processing over which we have an influence, please refer to the contact details given in the legal notice. We will then investigate your objection to the processing of your data as it relates to us. If you wish to assert your right of objection against the platform, this latter must be contacted directly.
Please consider that the choice of the appropriate communication channel is your own responsibility. The data processing is carried out in the legitimate interest of conducting public relations work for our company and being able to communicate with you, following Art. 6 para.1 (1) lit. f.
On recruitment platforms, you can send us your application based on art. 6 para.1 lit.b (or the national implementation act/provision according to art. 88 GDPR), which serves the establishment of an employment relationship between you and us.

We also occasionally use the social media platforms described to play out targeted advertising. For this purpose, we use target group definitions that are provided to us by the social media provider. We only use anonymous target group definitions – defining characteristics, for example, based on general demographic information, behavior, interests and connections.
Occasionally, we or the provider of the social media platform also use publicly available data for target group definition. The legal basis for this processing is once again, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest on our part is to define a target group that is as suitable as possible.
We delete your personal data when they are no longer required for the aforementioned processing purposes and there are no legal retention obligations that prevent deletion.
